Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 61st AHC and Detachments
Dedicated to the 61st AHC, 616th Transportation, 922nd Signal, 193rd Medical Detachments, 364th Aviation Support Detachment (ATC ), and our aviators and crews whose lives were lost for our country and Allied Forces. This Rucker Reunion will kick-off the 50 Year Anniversary of the Vietnam War and the organization the 61st Assualt Helicopter Company. All out of town visitors should make lodging reservations at the Hampton Inn in Ozark (334-443-6669). Activities on Fort Rucker are on November 10th for Veterans Day ceremonies at the Aviation Museum and on November 11th for the 1st Aviation Brigade Vietnam War Memorial. The dedication of the brick array will be held at 11:00 before the museum entry. Be sure to obtain visitors passes before the events. Passes maybe obtain at the Ozark Visitor Center between 8:00 and 4:00.
